Question: You Can Turn Off The Comments

    Hi There!

The payment will be from clients for consulting services rendered at pre-negotiated rates (coaching, workshops, speaking engagements). Basically, how my clients would go about paying me for my services. I’m about to finally launch my website, and am now thinking through how would I actually accept payment for the services I’m offering.

Tangentially, what do you think are the best ways for dealing with travel? Do you build it into your initial contract or ask for reimbursement at conclusion? I could see asking for reimbursement potentially getting tricky…

Good Morning, Boost and Bloomers! And, Karen, I am also so very sorry to hear that you’ve had some unexpected challenges to start the year. Our thoughts are with you and thank you for starting this post. I’m going to use this space to establish some concrete goals for myself and to create accountability:

    1. Publish ATEA Insights: Meaningful Measurement website (May 2023)

    2. Create monthly content via website blog space via Canva (auto-schedule all content by May 30, 2023)

    3. Make actual money from two clients (December 2023)

    Let’s do this, self! 😉

Good Morning, and Happy Friday! I just finished a creative brief with a graphic designer. I love his branding so much:

Six Above is a creative studio that crafts brands and creates kick-ass products.

We’re awesome at: Branding, Packaging, Design, Lettering, and Illustration.

He passed along some great material and relevant examples:

    Hi There!

My name is Megan Masters and I first became acquainted with Stephanie’s work when a colleague of hers referenced her work at a research and evaluation conference at the University of Maryland. I’ve been a fan ever since and I can relate 100% to Rachel, i’ve used so much of what I’ve learned from her Evergreen data academy to elevate my role in the work that I do.

In terms of where I am business-wise, I am currently a seed deep, deep, deep in the ground. All I have is a domain name and when I registered for this course, I got an error message saying that the domain name isn’t even valid…so, I will have to figure that out later…

I will be using this opportunity to refine my business offering. Having worked in higher education for 17 years, I see that universities are literally swimming in data that they have no idea what to do with. And, it’s such a shame because the data can really yield important and impactful insights to our students at such formative ages. I’d like to help bridge the gap between data and impact. Once I get an actual domain working and associated website, I’ll have you all check out my business, ATEA Insights: What’s your point?. I’ve never said that before…”my business”. Here we go!
