    I wish I could attend, but I’m afraid I’m not qualified. 🙂

I would love to attend, but unlikely. My son is getting married the day before!!! I’ll catch you all on the next one or perhaps even try to help organize. Love these chances to connect.

I have been trying to preserve that for myself…mostly Friday afternoons. And I really liked Stephanie’s advice a couple of office hours ago when she mentioned blocking off 90 minute segments throughout the week, which might work better. I do love that it’s given me “permission” to work on this business and value it.

So…still a bit behind on the website. All that pesky work is getting the way of the work I’d like to be doing on the business development end. That said, progress, not perfection. Headshots. Improved language. Logos. Color and font themes. Yipes.

I’m so sorry Leonor. May his memory be a blessing.

I’m coming late to this conversation, but I did love the pearl in the oyster, and the sense of protection from that image in choosing to receive coaching. I also like that you have FAQs about what it means to be coached and the framework you would offer. Good luck! I’m so stuck on this, still working the site!!

Just envious of your journey Dave! We used to go up to Branch Lake when my husband’s aunt and uncle were still there. Seconding the thought that you eat ALL the lobster!

I love this idea. I have my long list…and I’ve gotten bogged down by the regular flow of just getting work done. By the end of April, I would like to get the draft language for a website done.

    in reply to: Pricing! #2168

I am also really struggling with pricing. Currently I’m transitioning from working with a principal consultant who is retiring and will be taking over four contracts with varying degrees of time remaining. Those prices are built in from 2 to 5 years. There are also a couple of new contracts on the horizon, assuming the grants come in. I’m starting to really worry about one contract in particular where the scope creep is real. In taking it on, I fear our principal had done much more for it than was really profitable. And it’s been a long standing client I’d hate to damage that.

Feeling great about getting our LLC filed and official, solidifying my partnership with an awesome colleague, hearing back from an initial client whose work would get me back to working on international issues I love, and finding a absolutely LOVE the nitty gritty stuff of starting a business. How weird is that? But, I kind of groove on budgeting for projects, figuring out the infrastructure of the business, etc. It’s been fun.

I love seeing all these locations! I’m in Pittsburgh PA; lived here for nearly 25 years now.

Hello everyone! Dave, you may have just talked me into going ahead and looking at the full report. I got: Responsibility, Connectedness, Learner, Analytical, and Focus as my top five. Thanks Stephanie for pointing to this tool. I love this sort of insight, but haven’t looked at an assessment like this in quite some time.
