    Hi,

Thanks for this info.  The link to the lawyer forms looks like it would do the trick.  I also checked out the products from Nolo and see a some useful things.

    Hi Robin,

Thank you very much for this feedback.  Having you ask these questions makes me clarify what I’m selling – which is what I need.

The tag line I was trying to say is what I have felt which is “ugh, the statistic I want to share is important and the board meeting is tomorrow and I’m tired of fiddling around with this chart that won’t work/look good”.

The animated doughnut chart is what people would download.  I have the framework for 3 doughnuts, one that is in 5% increments (5%, 10%,15%, etc.), one that is in 10% increments (10%,20%,30%), and one that is 1% increments (so 100  tick marks). I have them in 14 colors. Admittedly, this is a lot of charts but once they’re built, it’s done.  Same principle for my waffle charts, 100 circles that animate one dot (or square) at a time.  There won’t be a choice for 48.5% because that wouldn’t be a proper looking chart.  There’s not a choice for multiple categories because doughnuts and waffles are best as a binary / one statistic.

So that’s the sale, there is a color that will most certainly work for what you need. The doughnuts will only be offered in the appropriate data point, you won’t be able to download a 48% using the 5% increment doughnut because that would make a poor-looking chart having it stop mid-bar, if you want 48% you will need the 1% increment doughnut. You can download the chart and it’s a big 1000px square so it will size down to what you need without losing quality. The PNG file is the same static image that can be used in various formats, for example, I uploaded it into Tableau for a one-pager handout I was doing.

All animation I’ve seen in Canva and powerpoint animates the entire chart and doesn’t have this detailed of animation.  All of the above is my tier 1. I don’t have to do anything they are already made.  I have three blues but if someone wanted the EXACT branded blue – that would be an upsell custom order.

On tier two, these are charts that require categories of data so they can’t be pre-made.  In this case, someone likes a chart I’ve made in my example and says “I want that chart, here are my data points, categories, and branding”. Then I build it and same principle, download and install.

Prices…. I introduced myself at B&B and considered the downloaded doughnuts & waffles idea as a $5 side hustle. I haven’t moved too far from that price point.  I see various graphics online (but none that look like mine 😊 ) for $10 – $20 for a static file and $10 – $40 for an animated file and obviously nobody is going to get rich with that. I’ve expanded my ladder to tier 2 and I really don’t know how I would price a custom animation.  If anyone sees someone selling / offering that 2nd tier chart animation service like what I envision I would like the URL.

I am ENTIRELY open to opinions and references for pricing ideas.

    Again, thanks Robin.

    Have a good evening.

Thanks Stephanie. I have made a point of limiting my exposure/activity on social media in life but now I need to start participating if I’m going to “bloom”. A lot to learn but this community has been helpful.

    Hi Lisa,

It would be great to connect. I am planning on going to the first office hour. My work schedule is pretty intense these next couple of weeks but my email is tuiajen@yahoo.com and if you send me a few day/times, it would be good to chat. I”m Pacific Time Zone.

    Hi Tait,

Thanks for sharing your results.  I just took the evaluation and my top 5 are: analytical, connectedness, belief, relator, and harmony, 3 of the 5 are in relationship building. I’m going to have to find out what’s beyond the 5 and read more about how to play to my strengths and what they mean. As far as I can tell from a  face-value lens is that I’d be excellent choice if anyone needed a virtual hug :-/

Looking forward to the class and all that it will offer.

    Hi Lisa,

I am also in the ‘seed’ stage. I’ve been thinking about my own thing\investigating different ideas for a couple of years and taking the leap is exciting.  I hope the conversation with your boss produced a positive outcome.
