“Neurospicy” <— Love that 🙂 Are you planning to stay in software or pivoting to something else?
Kim. I am so glad you’re here. I have no doubt you’ll crystallize your plan while you’re here. If you want to pitch specific questions about how to promote and launch an online workshop, ask me in Office Hours, ok?
Jess, you sure have A LOT going on. I love that you’re gonna be able to build a business that’ll be flexible while you’re chasing.
What a huge move, Adrienne! To be offered the lead and then to honestly reflect and decide no… that takes some real courage. Good for you for protecting yourself.
If you love it and you’re good at it and the worlds needs it and will pay for it, you’ve found the right place to focus, Lee 🙂
Dionisia, I’m so glad you’re finally here. It’s time!
Great looking website Christian! Love those head shots.

Hey Veronica,
I addressed this question in Office Hours yesterday – check out the video! I thought of something else, too.
When I started the Data Viz Academy, it was only 6 tutorials, with the promise of a new tutorial every month. People who signed up did so on a subscription basis, so I had renewable payments coming in regularly to help fund further growth. Eventually we moved away from the subscription model but initially it was really helpful with growth. Check out the other suggestions I gave in Office Hours, too.
I came to report that I’m in St Croix during the week of a course launch. I always wanted to get to the place where I could pretty much be on vacation during a course launch, and here I am – answering some emails a couple times a day and snorkeling with beautiful fish.
A friend of mine has a pretty good set up for pricing workshops. Up to 25 people, it’s X. Beyond that, it’s Y per person. That hybrid means he’ll always have X guaranteed.
You should double your rate, Karen.

Hey Jen, Given your business model, you could charge different rates in different places and actually make that part of how your values show up in your business.
That’s a real sign of growth, Karen!
